Highlighting The Do’s And Don’ts Of TMT Bars
TMT bars are the backbone of every modern construction. They are widely used in the construction of buildings and other concrete structures. Using the best quality TMT bars strengthens the structure and makes it everlasting. These bars are extremely strong, ductile, fatigue resistant, earthquake resistant and corrosion resistant as well.
TMT bars must be properly stored because improper storage might hamper their quality. It is necessary to ensure that proper care of the TMT bars while storing them.
Here are some of the Do’s and Don’ts that will help you to store TMT steel bars efficiently.
Do’s –
- => TMT bars must be stored in a dry and damp-proof storage place to protect it from corrosion and decay. TMT bars must be delivered to the final site as soon as possible and if there is a necessity of storing it for a longer duration, it must be ensured that it is properly covered.
- => The temperature of the storage area must be taken care of and also ensure that the area has proper ventilation. This takes care of the fluctuation that occurs inside and outside the storage.
